Gary Chamber to host South Shore Line CEO

Michael Noland, president of the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District, will provide an update on South Shore Line projects during the Gary Chamber of Commerce's monthly meeting June 10.

The meeting includes a luncheon at the Chateau Banquets, 530 W. 61st in Merrillville. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m.

Noland, who also serves as the CEO of the South Shore Line, will discuss the double-track project and its potential benefits for businesses and the Region's economic development.

As CEO, he manages the operations of the railroad that includes a 90-mile route from South Bend to Chicago's Millennium Station.
