Centier promotes Mike McKean

Mike McKean is the new assistant vice president, loan operations officer, of Merrillville-based Centier Bank.

McKean joined Centier in 2017 as a commercial loan booking and reporting associate. He was promoted to a loan operations officer in 2019 and began managing three teams.

Before joining Centier, McKean worked at a regional bank as a loan operations officer for 10 years.

“I feel very fortunate to work for a company that cares so deeply about its associates and clients,” McKean said in a press release. “It makes coming to work every day a joy, and I’m very happy to receive this recognition.”

McKean is a graduate of Illinois State University. He lives in Crown Point.

Founded in 1895, Centier Bank has over 60 offices. The company has banking locations in 11 counties and employs over 1,000 associates. In November 2023, American Banker named Centier Bank the Best Bank to Work For in Indiana.
