The Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center is accepting nominations for its annual E-Day awards through Aug. 30.
Small Businesses in Northwest Indiana with a track record of growth and growth potential are eligible to be nominated. Businesses must be located in Lake, Porter, La Porte, Starke, Jasper, Pulaski and Newton counties. They must also have a three-year record of growth in sales or employees.
The categories are:
- Small Business Person of the Year
- Entrepreneurial Excellence
- Small Business Exporter
- Emerging Small Business
- Minority Small Business
- Family-Owned Business
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year
- Small Business Advocate
- Advocate for Youth Entrepreneurship
The ISBDC has recognized the achievements of entrepreneurs and small businesses owners in Northwest Indiana for 32 years.
Nominations forms are available on the ISBDC website.
An awards luncheon will honor the winners on Nov. 9 at Avalon Manor in Merrillville.
