CHESTERTON – The Crisis Center’s 17th annual Wine Fest, Live & Silent Auction will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 14, at Sand Creek Country Club.
The event, “Northwest Indiana’s Biggest Night,” benefits the Crisis Center’s intervention and prevention programs for children, adults and families. Its services include the Safe Place outreach program; Alternative House emergency shelter; Teen Court youth development; and Crisis Contact, a crisis and suicide prevention hot line.
Last year’s event was attended by 600 people and featured 300 silent auction items, gourmet food, fine wine and beer; and a live auction.
