GARY – Latrice Edwards, a professional makeup artist, has been named an Innovator of the Month for March by the Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana.

Edwards uses her skills on movie sets like “Public Enemy” and television shows like “Boss,” but she also uses her skills to provide personal service to people who cannot afford the service but need to boost self esteem.

After graduating from Ball State University, Edwards worked for Sears and J.C. Penney, but also started an image consulting business. She has worked at the Miss USA Pageant, but today uses her skills to help people transition back into society.
