Methodist Hospitals has opened its latest CareFirst facility at 1781 W. Morthland Drive in Valparaiso. 

It is Methodist’s fourth CareFirst facility in Northwest Indiana. The other locations are in Crown Point, Merrillville and Schererville. 

“Methodist Hospitals is proud to launch this new facility, which brings a one-stop source for convenient and cost-effective care to the Valparaiso community,” said Matt Doyle, Methodist Hospitals president and CEO. 

The new facility offers an immediate care center, a family practice physician office, and specialty care, including orthopedics, cardiology, neurology and podiatry.

The Valparaiso site also is home to the practice of Dr. Jonathan Ramos, a board-certified family medicine physician. Drs. Alfred Bonjean, orthopedic surgeon; Bruce Brincko, podiatrist; William Conte, neurologist and Thach Nguyen, cardiologist also will see patients at CareFirst Valparaiso.
