LAPORTE – Indiana University Health LaPorte Hospital clinicians, fitness staff and heart failure nurses will hold the second heart failure awareness event at Al’s East Supermarket from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4.

The hospital and Al’s teamed up to educate residents who suffer from heart conditions on reducing sodium in their diets. Al’s will conduct cooking demonstrations and offer a variety of heart healthy food samples.
