Franciscan Alliance walks for diabetes

HIGHLAND – Franciscan Alliance Northern Indiana hospitals employee walked to help find a cure for juvenile diabetes at Wicker Park. More than 50 employees took part in the event and raised $14,772. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation hosted the event, which attracted more than 2,000 people.

NIPSCO undertakes largest project ever

WHEATFIELD – A 499-foot double-stack concrete chimney is rising at NIPSCO’s R.M. Schahfer Generating Station. The $510 million project is the largest in the utility’s history.
