Sarah Baker has joined Hilco Global of Northbrook, Ill. as vice president and assistant general counsel.
Baker will handle the firm’s corporate legal matters as well as specific business transactions and deals requiring legal counsel. Baker will report directly to Eric Kaup, executive vice president-general counsel.
Baker of Crown Point has more than 12 years of professional experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago, and her law degree from the College of William & Mary.
Baker also completed a two-year federal court clerkship for Judge Bruce Fox of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Baker is an accomplished author of numerous articles and presentations and has been a recipient of several awards and honors including being named by the National LGBT Bar Association as one of its 2015 40 Under 40.
