WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central has received accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
A six-member HLC team visited Purdue North Central in April for three days to examine all aspect of the university.
“The team found the self study document to be outstanding. It was most helpful in determining how well Purdue University North Central fulfilled the criteria and core components for accreditation,” read the HLC report. “The document was well written, candid in its approach and contained thoughtful evaluation of the institution.”
Chancellor James Dworkin said he was pleased with the report. “This is tremendous news for all of us at Purdue North Central. This very positive report reflects the quality and development of Purdue North Central. It is a positive reflection on our faculty, staff and students.”
