MUNSTER – NorthWest Indiana Bancorp, the parent company for Peoples Bank in Munster, has announced second quarter financial results were virtually the same as results from one year ago.
Net income in the quarter was $1.6 million, down from $1.7 million last year. For the first half of the year, net income was up $3 million.
Peoples announced it had $680.1 million in assets at the end of business on June 30. The company has 12 branches in Lake and Porter counties.
