LAPORTE – Indiana University Health LaPorte Heart & Vascular Center will hold a Hispanic Health Fair on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 901 Lincolnway.
Information will be available on women’s imaging in, pharmaceutical service, dental and maternal health programs, wellness opportunities and heart health. In addition, there will be screenings for blood pressure, breast cancer, cervical cancer, colorectal cancer take-home screening kits, non-fasting glucose, and osteoporosis.
Organizations participating include Covering Kids & Families of LaPorte County, Drug Free Communities, Dunebrook, El Puente Community Center of LaPorte County, HealthLinc, Horizon Bank, LaPorte County Health Department, LaPorte County Library, MDWise, Purdue University North Central, WIC of Michigan City, and Women’s Care Center.
