SOUTH BEND – 1st Source Bank has announced the winners of the 15th annual Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award.  Five employees and five community volunteers who embody the spirit, values, energy and leadership of Ernestine M. Raclin, past Chairman of 1st Source Bank and 1st Source Corporation, were selected as 2013 winners of the award.

Jon Hicks, President of In Good Company in Merrillville, and Donna Duttlinger, client services representative at 1st Source Bank in Kouts, were selected as two of this year’s winners.

Hicks was recognized for founding Frontline Foundations, a collaborative and innovative substance abuse recovery program which helps young men and women ages 18 to 28. Thanks to his leadership, more than 160 young men and women receive the services they need each year.

Duttlinger was recognized for spending countless hours to ensure the continued success of the Kouts Pork Fest. Thanks to her leadership, 7,000 visitors are able to enjoy the festival each year.

Other award winners include Kurt Janowsky, co-owner of Crystal Ballroom Catering in Elkhart; Mindie Colanese, 1st Source Banking Center Manager in New Carlisle; Ryan Fenstermaker, 1st Source Business Relationship Manager in South Bend; Marcia Hayes, Commercial Lines Agent at 1st Source Insurance in Knox; Greg Crawford, Dean of the College of Science at the University of Notre Dame; Carol Lyn Jansen, Office Manager at Jansen Orthopaedic Clinic in Warsaw; and Tom Majerek, President of MDS Priority Delivery Service in Niles.

Each winner received a $1,000 award, a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choice, and a Globe of Leadership.
