Donna Kiesling is the assistant director of marketing and communications at Ivy Tech Community College’s Lake County campus. She had a longtime career in local and regional journalism, as a reporter and editor in news and features for the Times of Northwest Indiana, the Chicago Tribune and The Daily Southtown in Illinois. A graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Donna was born in Chicago, later moving to South Holland, Illinois. She has been a Northwest Indiana resident for more than three decades.
