CROWN POINT – Van Drunen Farms has received a seven year tax abatement for its operation in the former Dawn Foods Products plant. The company will create 26 new jobs when it opens later this year.
The company is based in Momence, Ill., and is installing $5 million in new equipment in the 125,000 square foot building on East Summit Street.
The company produces dehydrated food, processes organic food and conventional food ingredients.
