Rohit Patel and Jahnae Erpenback are the newest members of the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority Board of Directors.
Patel is owner of the Comfort Inn and Best Western Hotels in Hammond. Erpenback is general manager of the Majestic Star Casinos, which soon will be rebranded as the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel. The CVA board consists of 19 volunteer members.
The South Shore CVA was created by the passage of House Enrolled Act 1937 by the Indiana General Assembly in 1983. Board members are appointed by state, county and local government bodies including mayors, commissioners and Indiana’s lieutenant governor.
