Prime Real Estate Offers Health Insurance AgentsCROWN POINT – Prime Real Estate is proud to announce it will offer health insurance to all of the company’s real estate agents. Real estate agents are classified as independent contractors or self-employed, so typically they are on their own when it comes to getting health insurance coverage.

Agents are often faced with three options for getting health insurance: buy a plan independently, join a spouse’s plan or go without and pay the government a penalty fee. All three options can be expensive and costly.

“Offering this benefit is rare in our industry and I have heard of few real estate companies doing this,” said Joshua Lybolt, Co-Founder and President of Prime Real Estate. “We care about our agents and want to offer an affordable plan so our agents and their families can stay healthy and happy.”

Prime Real Estate is offering a plan through United Healthcare, and includes options for vision, dental, and $40 co-pays for in-network doctor visits with many local providers. The move comes as the company continues to grow with 150 agents across four states. The company has five offices throughout Northwest Indiana including locations in Crown Point, Hobart, Long Beach, Valparaiso, and Schererville.

“Providing this coverage goes back to our mission of what makes us stand apart,” said Jennifer Trpeski, Director of HR at Prime Real Estate. “We are also focused on personal development and improving the lives of our agents, this is just one additional way.”
