PORTER – Porter Bank, a mainstay within the Northwest Indiana community for more than 95 years, has introduced a new brand identity and corporate communications strategy to better serve its current and future customers.

“Throughout the years, Porter Bank has established a successful brand identity built on service to our customers,” said Jacqueline Ruge-Perkins, Executive Vice President, Porter Bank. “With this new brand identity and strategy that will not change; we are simply repackaging this message.

“This new branding will enable Porter Bank to compete more successfully against the larger, less personal banking firms, and enable us to attract a whole new generation of loyal customers while maintaining our ‘hometown,’ feel, value-added service and reputation.”

Ruge-Perkins pointed out that though Porter Bank will be upgrading and modernizing their brand, the banking firm executive team and staff remain the same friendly faces. The new brand identity of Porter Bank will include a new logo, an updated messaging platform, and new promotional materials.

“We are very pleased with the concept developed along with ACI,” said Ruge-Perkins. “We believe it will be strongly innovative and user-friendly, and will incorporate all the latest communications strategies and technologies for a more convenient banking experience for our customers.”

A new tagline, “Friendly Banking Built on Trust,” will be a focal point of the new branding to emphasize Porter Bank’s corporate philosophy of personalized customer service, reliability and security.
