PORTAGE – MC Industrial has announced the promotion of Michael Mooney to vice president of estimating. Mooney brings extensive industrial knowledge by overseeing technical reviews, estimating, scheduling, and value analysis for all MC Industrial projects.
He oversees the preparation of all estimates that include coordination of the assigned estimators, schedulers, value engineers, and subcontracting staff, during the preparation of estimates for the project. During construction, he remains involved as required to provide costing support for change order analysis and subcontract negotiation.
Mooney began his career with McCarthy in 1981 and left to start his own business in 1999. He has since returned to MC Industrial and brings with him new knowledge, skill sets, and expertise that will benefit the rapidly expanding industrial construction field. Mooney has the expertise of dealing with the unique complexities involved in successfully bringing an ever-increasing number of industrial projects to market.

Mike’s credentials alone confirm his solid construction understanding of the industrial marketplace,” said Tom Felton, president. Mooney holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
