Indiana Manufacturers Association adds to government affairs, communications staff

Malika Butler has joined the government affairs and communications staff of the Indiana Manufacturers Association.

Butler most recently served as manager of political affairs at the Indy Chamber of Commerce and spent time as a government affairs associate with Gubera Public Affairs. She also served as a legislative assistant for the Indiana House of Representatives and field manager for the House Republican Campaign Committee while attending Indiana University.

Butler also serves as vice president of programming and professional development for the Young Professionals of Central Indiana board and is a member of the Indiana Leadership Forum Class of 2018. She also served as a delegate for the 2018 Indiana Republican State Convention and is active with the Indiana University Alumni Association.

Butler will be working with IMA's lobbying and communications staff, as well as taking on the administration of IMPAC, the Indiana Manufacturers Association's Political Action Committee.

The Indiana Manufacturers Association represents more than 1,400 companies.
