HAMMOND – S\TEC Group Inc. has announced the appointment of Thomas J. Gyure as general manager of Superior Engineering, LLC, and Superior Engineering-Illinois, LLC. As general manager, Gyure is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the companies, with a focus toward continuing the growth of Superior Engineering.

Gyure joined Superior Engineering, LLC in 2006 as senior project manager. Prior to joining the firm, his 25 years in the industry includes work at Inland Steel Company and Triumph Industries, holding leadership roles in the engineering and operating departments.
He earned his BSME from Tri-State University (now Trine) and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Based in Hammond, with offices in Illinois to serve the Midwest United Sates, S\TEC Group, Inc. is the holding company for Superior Engineering, LLC, Superior Engineering-Illinois, LLC, SEMAC, LLC, Superior Design-Build, LLC, Superior Engineering Technical Services, LLC, S\E Products, LLC, Water and Wastewater Associates, LLC and Superior Engineering Services, LLC (Michigan).
