WESTVILLE – The Indiana Commission for Higher Education has granted approval to Purdue University North Central for the College of Engineering and Technology to offer a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. PNC students will have the opportunity to enroll in these bachelor's degree classes this fall.
This becomes the 23rd bachelor’s degree program offered by PNC.
“I am pleased that our students now have the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Purdue North Central,” said PNC Chancellor Dr. James B. Dworkin. “This degree presents another option for students who want to earn an esteemed, affordable Purdue engineering degree close to home. A degree in civil engineering can open the door to a number of exciting career options.”
The PNC Civil Engineering program has been reviewed by the Department of Engineering Education and the Department of Civil Engineering at the Purdue University West Lafayette campus. The Civil Engineering curriculum is designed to meet the accreditation requirements for the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC/ABET).
