GARY – Three nurses at Methodist Hospitals have collaborated on a book to guide patients and families through a SAFE hospital stay.
The book, “Hospital Safety – Insider Tips,” is designed to assist patients in receiving safe patient care.
The authors are Jodi Boling, a clinical nurse specialist with more than 15 years of experience in neurology and critical care. She is a continuing lecturer in nursing at the Northwest Indiana university.
Kathy Plesac works in infection control at Methodist.
Julie Prieboy is a clinical nurse specialist with a focus on cancer care. She is coordinator of the community cancer program.
