CHESTERTON – The official 2012 Porter County Calendar of Events guide is now available. It includes events such as Chesterton’s Wizard of Oz Festival, the Popcorn Festival in Valparaiso, Portage’s Elvis FANtasy Fest, and the Kouts Pork Fest.
The free guide is available at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center, 1215 N. Indiana 49.
“This year’s guide features everything from live theater performances to farmers markets toe vents like the Porter County Fair and the Sand Sculpture Contest at Indiana Dunes State Park,” said Lorelei Weimer, executive director of Indiana Dunes Tourism.
